Confirmed Corona Case at the TU Ilmenau

An employee of the administration of the Technische Universität Ilmenau has been infected with the Covid-19 virus. She is currently in domestic quarantine. The university is in close contact with the district administration and the health authorities and has coordinated the further procedure with them. Quarantine has also been ordered for individual employees of the administrative department who have been in contact with the infected employee. No further measures had to be taken, as the university adhered to the infection protection concept throughout the entire campus area. Business operations in research, teaching and administration continue as usual.

Today, the TU Ilmenau called on all its employees to continue to adhere to the specifications of the infection protection concept and in particular to keep sufficient distance, to ventilate rooms regularly and to wash their hands thoroughly on a regular basis.
