GREEN OFFICE launches new office hours and discussion series

Barbara Aichroth

The GREEN OFFICE at TU Ilmenau will be hosting regular open office hours. Due to ongoing construction work in the cafeteria, these sessions will be held temporarily in new premises: Every Tuesday (except for the first Tuesday of the month) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., students and staff are invited to discuss sustainability-related topics in Building G, Room G1200.

Whether you have questions about existing sustainability initiatives, would like to place your own ideas for a more sustainable university, or you are interested in getting involved: The GREEN OFFICE provides a space for suggestions, discussions, and engagement.

The goal is to work together to develop new ideas to for making our university more sustainable.

If you’re unavailable on Tuesdays, please send an email, and we’ll schedule another time.

In addition, following the open office hours, there will be a discussion on a key topic from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00.

The following topics are already planned:

Tuesday, May 12: Sustainability in Teaching: Aligning Degree Programs with the SDGs
