Two months before the start of the winter semester 2022/23, Ilmenau University of Technology invites all those who have made up their minds at short notice to a study information day on campus. High school graduates, their parents and all interested parties will have the opportunity on August 26 to find out about the study programs offered at the TU Ilmenau, to get to know the campus on site and to get answers to all questions about studying and living in Ilmenau. The Last Minute Info Day offers a wide range of information about studying at TU Ilmenau on Friday, August 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the university campus. Prospective students can get personal advice on the various courses of study in the Humboldt Building, the university's largest event and lecture building, to find out whether a course of study suits their individual interests and abilities or to find their bearings in the first place. At the Students' Council, which represents the interests of the students, they will receive information from the perspective of the students themselves, and at the stand of the Academic Service Center, questions about the application process will be answered. During tours, interested parties will get to know the campus, lecture rooms and laboratories of the TU Ilmenau. The Studierendenwerk Thüringen will provide information on topics such as housing, student financing and student life in lectures and personal conversations. Those who have already applied will also receive additional information in the Humboldt Building about their chosen course of study or current application status.

It is possible to apply to the TU Ilmenau until September 15, lectures start on October 10. In addition to the highest quality of education, freshmen can expect a university with campus flair, a family environment and intercultural diversity. TU Ilmenau offers 19 bachelor's and 25 master's degree programs in engineering, natural sciences, IT, business and media. The wide-ranging degree programs focus on exciting future topics such as autonomous mobility, bio-inspired electronics, artificial intelligence, networked communication or regenerative energy concepts. Graduates of TU Ilmenau have excellent job prospects at home and abroad.

The study in the winter semester 2022/23 is planned in presence. Lecturers and students are in active personal contact during the entire study program, even in the current pandemic situation. Small group sizes allow for on-site seminars and internships. Student tutors are on hand to assist first-year students from the very first day of their studies. Numerous clubs offer them individual opportunities for development with their diverse cultural and leisure activities.
