Initiated by the Thüringer Mobilitätsnetzwerk (TMN), student projects from the Bauhaus Universität Weimar, Technische Universität Ilmenau and Fachhochschule Erfurt focused on the topics of "bus stops" and "mobility stations" in the summer semester of 2025. The results were used to create an exhibition under the patronage of the Thüringer Minister für Digitales und Infrastruktur, Steffen Schütz, which shows how mobility solutions could be designed in the future.

In cooperation between the Thüringer Innovationszentrum Mobilität (ThIMo) and the User-centric Analysis of Multimedia Data Group, two projects at Technische Universität analyzed the research question of how mobility stations of the future can be developed to be as user-friendly as possible:

  1. Memorable description of travelers' expectations with the help of personas | About the project work
  2. User-oriented concepts for interactive passenger information, particularly in the context of rural mobility stations |  About the project work

Through the Thüringer Mobilitätsnetzwerk, the results of the students' work are directly incorporated into the further development of mobility in Thuringia.
