New preprint available

Our lab member Anke Stoll and her colleagues from the University of Düsseldorf published a research article entitled "AQuA – Combining Experts’ and Non-Experts’ Views To Assess Deliberation Quality in Online Discussions Using LLMs". The authors present a new framework to detect deliberation in online discussions using adapter models. The approach preserves information on the deliberative aspects present in comments, enhancing model transparency based on a quality score which incorporates different subjective views.
