Since mid-August, the TU Ilmenau's start-up service has been offering a new service on its website: project teams and individuals can register here with their start-up ideas or skills and search for suitable supporters. The service is available to all members of the TU Ilmenau and is aimed at people with an interest in founding a company in the pre-founding phase. How far advanced the business idea is, whether equal co-founders, further hands, special skills or the brilliant idea are sought, is not decisive for the use of the service.
The procedure for team matching is very simple. Interested parties can download appropriate profile templates from the website, which they then fill out and send by e-mail to ilmkubator@tu-ilmenau.de. The requests are then posted on the website. Subsequently, the requests are placed on the Ilmkubator website and, if desired, shared on the founder service's social media profiles. If a:e visitor:in the website feels addressed by an advertisement, he or she can get into direct exchange with the seekers via the stored contact data.
The announcements on the Ilmkubator website can also be viewed by interested parties from other Thuringian universities and, in exceptional cases, are also shared via the partner institutions of the Thuringian University Founders Network.
The Ilmkubator is the start-up service of the TU Ilmenau and supports members of the university in the pre-founding phase. In addition to classic start-up consulting, the services offered include coaching, qualification and teaching opportunities, networking events, contact mediation, and access to and advice on funding opportunities. The Ilmkubator is funded in the line "EXIST-Potentials" by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection as well as EXIST.
