As part of the Digital Twins of Humans for Space Operations with XR Telepresence project, the article entitled " μPose: Synthetic Dataset for Human Pose Estimation in Microgravity Environments", was presented at the IEEE Conference on Artificial Intelligence (CAI) 2024 by the authors: Luís Fernando de Souza Cardoso, Tobias Schwandt and Wolfgang Broll. The paper proposes a synthetic dataset for training human pose estimation models in microgravity environments. Through transfer learning with the proposed dataset, improvements in mean average precision and mean average recall were obtained compared to off-the-shelf pose estimation frameworks.
