Research Project embrace5G launched

The research project embrace5G - Embedded ground-space5G terminal for automated and connected driving started on 1.04.2021 .The R&D project pushes satellite communications for future 5G applications forward. In the focus are technologies for automated and connected driving on roads and rails, as these challenge a comprehensive coverage across traffic domains and borders, reliability, as well as fusion of multiple sources of wireless information; here, satellite communications offer attractive complements to terrestrial wireless communication systems.
