At 5 p.m. the children's run will start, at 5:30 p.m. the run for young people over 15 and adults. Arriving at the Ilmenau marketplace, all participants will receive a medal. Registration for both runs is at the marketplace from 4 pm.

The program of the Ilmenau Science Night is available online at www.ilmenauer-wissenschaftsnacht.de/programm. Those who do not want to browse through the entire program can get specific suggestions: Interested parties can embark on a journey through the world of Ilmenau science and business on five themed tours (www.ilmenauer-wissenschaftsnacht.de/programm/touren). Researchers at TU Ilmenau present exciting inventions and innovations, answer burning questions of the day and invite you to try them out, join in and discuss them. The five themed tours: "Experience Artificial Intelligence: Robots in action," "Mobility of the future," "Technology for people: Keeping an eye on the environment and health," "Resource-conserving and energy-efficient: Technologies for a sustainable future" and "Hearing, Seeing, marveling: Between reality and virtual worlds."

Young visitors can also use the Ilmenau Science Night to find out what they can study at TU Ilmenau. In the Study Info Lounge in the Humboldt Building, they can find out which courses are of interest to them and what the university has to offer outside of their studies. At a study talk, a university quiz and hands-on activities, they can learn more about studying at the TU Ilmenau, and in the International Lounge, they can expect reports on their experiences abroad, inspiration and cultural contributions from all over the world.

At the joint stand of the Ilm district with the regional brand of the districts of Ilm district and Gotha "Thuringian Arc" and the Technology and Start-up Center Ilmenau, guests will get insights into exciting projects from business and science and for their job and career planning diverse information about professional opportunities or the establishment of their own company.
