Summer School Luzern

From 17 to 21 August, our team member Milin Zhang took part in the ‘Summer School in Social Science Methods 2026’, organised by the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) in the beautiful city of Lugano.

Specifically, she took part in a five-day workshop on longitudinal data analysis using panel data, led by two outstanding researchers from FORS (the Swiss Centre of Excellence in the Social Sciences), Oliver Lipps and Ursina Kuhn. Together with three other brilliant team members, Milin concluded the course with a presentation on the replication of a study that modelled the changing relationship between life satisfaction and job insecurity. She will now apply her newly acquired knowledge to the analysis of experience-sampling data as part of the COSDIMH project.

Special thanks go to the DFG Priority Programme “New Data Spaces”, which provided a travel grant to fund project members’ participation in this fantastic event.
