The CCS department participates in interdisciplinary AI teaching

Over the next three years, the CCS department will develop interdisciplinary teaching content as part of the THInKI project ("Thüringer Hochschulinitiative KI im Studium"). In addition to an introduction to computational methods, interdisciplinary research modules as well as courses dealing with social, ethical and legal aspects necessary for the development and evaluation of future AI systems will be developed and implemented. The courses offered are primarily aimed at students in the master's program.

The course content is presented in digital formats, e.g. with explanatory videos, exercises and quizzes, as well as self-assessment tools for online-based knowledge discovery.

This multidisciplinary approach takes into account the development that, with increasing digitization, artificial intelligence skills are becoming more and more important in all disciplines.
