Sections and Upload fields

The following list includes all sections of the application with their fields for uploading documents.

Depending on the applicant's individuality, not all sections need to be included in every application.

Admission letter

This section is always displayed.

It is to be filled in only if you already have an admission valid for the current application period.

A-level and person

This section is always displayed.

It must be completed in any case.

Study with degree

This section is only displayed if the question about study history is answered with "Yes, study with degree".

It is only to be completed if you have already successfully completed studies at another university.

Study without degree

This section is only displayed if the question about your study history is answered with "Yes, study without degree".

It is only to be completed if you have already dropped out of studies at another university.

Language skills

This section is only displayed if the Admission Office requires a language certificate.

It must be completed in all cases.

Motivation letter

This section is only displayed if the admission office requires a letter of motivation.

This can be either a mandatory or a free upload, depending on the program of study of the application request.

Payment administrative fee

This section is only displayed if the Admission Office requires payment of an administrative fee.

This is the case if you are applying with certificates from a foreign educational institution. In order to be able to check whether you meet the admission requirements for the degree program, the qualifications you have already acquired must be transferred to the German education system and thus re-evaluated by the Admission Office for a fee. To transfer the fee, please use the bank details and the purpose of payment as shown in this section of your application.

Alternatively: If you already have a

  • uni-assist Preliminary documentation (VPD) with indication of obtained degree
  • uni-assist Evaluation report (ER) with indication of obtained degree,

there is no need for a re-evaluation by the Admission Office and payment of the fee. In this case, please upload the uni-assist document in this section.
