After completion of the central course planning, members of the university have the ability to use rooms of the room pool during the lecture period, provided that they are not occupied by courses. A notification of the internal organizer to the room planning is sufficient in this case.
On the day already in progress, members of the University may use free rooms of the room pool not occupied with courses without notification.
When selecting the timetable type room, all rooms of the TU Ilmenau included in the Open Timetable are displayed. These are rooms of the room pool as well as department-owned rooms.
The names of the rooms of the room pool have a special syntax.
All seminar rooms start with the string "Seminarraum". All lecture halls start with the string "Hörsaal".
The actual occupancy is only displayed in full in the Open Timetable for rooms of the room pool (lecture halls and seminar rooms).
Other rooms of the TU Ilmenau, especially department-owned rooms, are only displayed with regard to their occupancy by courses. Any additional use by other activities is not recorded in the Open Timetable.
To determine the availability of a department-owned room, please contact the respective person responsible for the room in the departments.
The forms for the use of rooms of the room pool are provided for the closed user group of students and employees in the intranet. The Google search has no access to the intranet pages of the TU Ilmenau.
