TUIL Wi-Fi

The TUIL wireless LAN provides wireless access to the TUIL data network and the Internet.

Where technically feasible, the university buildings on campus are equipped with access points that ensure comprehensive coverage.

You must have an active university account to use the TUIL Wi-Fi.

The TUIL Wi-Fi is available under the name eduroam.

Dormitory Wi-Fi

The student housing facilities on the TUIL campus are connected to the data network.

A partnership between the UniRZ, the Thuringia Student Services Association, and the Research Association for Electronic Media (FeM) forms the basis for its operation.

In the area covered by this partnership, there is no explicit TUIL Wi-Fi (eduroam) coverage. The FeM operates its own Wi-Fi network within the dormitories.

Anactivated university account and FeM membership are required to use the Wi-Fi in the dormitories on campus.
