Tender

In order to promote young academics, TU Ilmenau will be awarding re-entry and doctoral degree scholarships from 1 January 2024 in accordance with the "Statutes on the Award of Scholarships at TU Ilmenau". Within the framework of the call for applications for the first half of 2021, applications can be submitted for the following funding formats:

Re-entry scholarships (= for female scientists who have interrupted their scientific qualification project for family reasons and want to reconnect with current research after parental leave). The aim of the re-entry grant is to financially support the return to a scientific activity (according to § 3, (5) of the statutes) after interrupting such an activity for family reasons, such as pregnancy, parental leave or caring for close relatives.

Doctoral Graduation Grants (= for scientists/researchers at the end of their doctorate) The aim of the graduation grant is to provide financial support for the successful completion of the scientific project (according to § 3, (6) of the statutes).
