The application should include:
A brief explanation of the desire to study abroad: In general and in particular the country/destination and the first desired university as well as the second and third desired university (if applicable also in another country). Please note: Without a second choice, the application has only a very poor chance of being fully considered. Furthermore, the preparation of an experience report after the stay abroad is obligatory.
Curriculum vitae in tabular form
List of courses attended with details of performance evaluations
If available, certificates of internships, voluntary work, etc.
Copy of the school leaving certificate
Information on the command of the foreign language(s) required for university attendance in the destination country (proof through examinations, certificates if possible and if necessary). Irrespective of the foreign language required, proof of English language skills should also always be provided.
Declaration of consent that the name with e-mail address may be published on the internet.
Applications for worldwide & european (unless there is an ERASMUS partnership) partnerships (except Indonesia) should be sent to the International Office of the TU Ilmenau. When applying, you must register in the Mobility Online database, which you can find here. On the page of the International Office you will also find an overview of the available places for the partnerships. The International Office provides feedback to the faculty on their selected candidates abroad.
Applications for ERASMUS partnerships and UPH Indonesia should be sent to the secretariat of the Department of Public Relations and Technical Communication at the Institute of Media and Communication Studies. The faculty provides feedback to the International Office, ERASMUS+ Department, on their selected candidates abroad.
