Two agencies were the most convincing: “MLYX Media Agency” won the prize for a campaign to attract investors from the USA to the optoelectronics industry in Thuringia. The agency “Thurinova” was the most innovative with its concept for raising awareness among investors from the United Kingdom for investments in the life sciences sector in the Free State. The students' ideas included communication tactics such as digital investor tours, virtual reality experiences, LinkedIn campaigns, trade fair appearances and business delegations.
Herbert Stütz, Head of Department at Invest in Thuringia at LEG, was impressed by the students' ideas and encouraged future collaborations. It was a challenging task for the jury to decide which concepts should be awarded prizes. Members of the jury were Susann Martens (LEG), Damir Agic (LEG), Franziska Gerlach (LEG), and Dr. Andreas Schwarz (TU Ilmenau). In this seminar, the students from Europe, Asia and Africa had the opportunity to develop a practical communication project in cooperation with a real customer for the benefit of Thuringia.
