From October 23 to 25, 2025, the 62nd Hohenheim Advanced Seminar took place at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Members of the “Law and Economics of Digitalization” department were also in attendance and presented their latest projects, which received many helpful and well-discussed comments in the proven format.

Nina L. Färber presented her latest paper, “Meta's Pay or Consent Model,” which was co-presented by Simon Anda (Andrássy University Budapest), and gave a co-presentation on the paper by Annika Stöhr and Oliver Budzinski (Department of Economic Theory) on the topic “Regulating Recommender Systems? – Effects of Data-Based Individualization (and its Limits) on Competition in the Digital World.” Lukas Breide presented the paper “Innovation in Digital Ecosystems: What Role Do Killer Acquisitions and the DMA Play,” which was co-presented by Karten K. Zolna (Philipps University Marburg). He also gave a co-presentation on the paper “Religiosity and Innovation: Two Levels, One Pattern? Empirical Evidence from Poland” by Simon Anda (Andrássy University Budapest).
