Participation in the OECD Competition Forum in Paris

OECD Competition Forum

On December 2, Juliane Mendelsohn took part in the panel discussion on “Inequality” at the annual OECD Competition Forum. The consideration of inequality in the context of existing competition law is an important but difficult topic as it shifts the basic liberal assumptions of competition policy and sheds light on issues that are not part of the classical canon of competition law. More than 400 delegates from national competition authorities were present. The keynote on inequality was delivered by Prof. Eleanor Fox from NYU School of Law.
