For the fourth time now, Prof Jochen Seitz, Chairman of the Förderverein Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik e. V. Ilmenau, in conjunction with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the TU Ilmenau, presented the sponsorship award for outstanding theses. The prize, endowed with €250 each, recognises the students' achievements and presents innovative topics. The award winners were honoured at the graduation ceremony in November 2024.

Carsten Thomas Gatermann, graduate of the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology degree programme in the field of electrical energy supply
Peter Gleißner, graduate of the Master's degree programme in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in the field of Theoretical Electrical Engineering
Vibhu Kaushik, graduate of the Micro- and Nanotechnologies Master's programme in the field of Micro- and Nanoelectronic Systems
Maurice Teuber, graduate of the Master's programme in Media Technology in the field of Virtual Worlds and Digital Games
