Flexible knowledge and learning spaces for the transfer of know-how in vocational training in public passenger transport
The digital learning offering planned in the project for the public transport industry will develop an educational solution that makes existing industry knowledge available to all employees on a permanent basis and adapted to their individual needs. Up to now, technical learning content has been disseminated via the publications of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) or informally through exchanges with experienced employees. The "KnowHow@ÖV" project closes a gap between everyday professional needs and the (implicitly) existing industry knowledge by making it digitally processed and permanently available at any time.
Development of a digital training solution for an industry with a heterogeneous employee structure that is subject to frequent technical and personnel changes,
Transfer of existing industry and employee knowledge into digital offerings,
Development of a didactic framework that can be adapted to the most diverse needs and prerequisites of teachers and learners,
Development and testing of a flexible digital learning offer for the public transport sector.
In the project, representatives of the disciplines of didactics, media production and engineering work together in an interdisciplinary manner. The central core is formed by the requirements of the teachers and learners, who are made up of the various professional groups in public transport (including mobility providers, technology manufacturers, training and further education providers, and consultants). The needs and requirements of these groups are systematically collected, processed as didactic patterns, transferred into prototypes of the digital learning offer and finally iteratively tested and evaluated.
