Training content

The M-course (intermediate-level course) provides basic training in the German language. It covers basic grammar and core vocabulary, whilst developing language skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing. The course runs for 15 weeks, with 25 teaching units per week.

 

Training objective

Language level B2 – corresponds to the level of the placement test for the O-course (upper secondary course).

 

Target audience

All international applicants with the required level of German. This will be assessed in a placement test. The course is particularly suitable for international applicants who need to demonstrate a C1 level of German, as assessed by the telc Deutsch C1 university entrance examination, in order to study at the Technical University of Ilmenau.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of the language placement test.

The course fee is EUR 2,200 per M course.
