Forms of examination English

The TU Ilmenau Service GmbH offers English examinations for enrolled students in their subject studies at the Ilmenau University of Technology in order to obtain a generally valid language certificate according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

For this purpose, there is the possibility to prove the language level by means of the TOEFL ITP or TOEIC and to take the exam for a fee.

Registration and costs

A TOEFL-ITP or TOEIC exam is only possible for students already enrolled in the subject program and employees of the Ilmenau University of Technology after prior registration.

The costs for an exam (TOEFL-ITP or TOEIC) differ according to the speed of correction:

  1. normal correction - approx. 2 weeks - 100,- Euro
  2. express correction - approx. 4 working days - 120,- Euro
 

If you would like to take one of the above mentioned exams, please send us an e-mail containing the following data at least 2 weeks before the exam date:

  • name, first name
  • complete home address
  • matriculation number / status (student or employee)
  • correction form (normal correction / express correction)
 

You will then receive an invoice for the stated examination fee and, after full payment, a confirmation of participation by mail.
