Entscheidungsbäume sind als Prognoseverfahren im Bereich des maschinellen Lernens verbreitet. Jedoch fehlt bisher eine Untersuchung, in wieweit sich die Algorithmen auch zur Imputation eignen. Dies ist insbesonders vor dem Hintergrund der verschiedenen Zielstellungen einer Imputation und einer Klassifikation relevant. So liegt bei einer Imputation häufig ein stärkerer Fokus auf der Struktur des Gesamtdatensatzes, wohingegen eine Klassifikation auf eine möglichst genaue Vorhersage einzelner Objekte abzielt. Neben den klassischen deterministischen Entscheidungsbäumen mit Majority Rule werden daher auch Entscheidungsbäume mit Class Probability Rule mit einer Zufallskomponente in die Untersuchung mit einbezogen. In einer Simulationsstudie, in der als Vergleichsverfahren zusätzlich eine Modus-Imputation und ein Random Hot Deck eingesetzt werden, zeigt sich, dass kein Verfahren in allen Fällen zum besten Ergebnis führt. So führt die Imputation mittels Entscheidungsbaum und Class Probability Rule meist zur geringsten Verzerrung der Häufigkeitsverteilung, jedoch stellt der Entscheidungsbaum mit Majority Rule meist die ursprünglichen Werte am besten wieder her. Welches Verfahren zur Imputation verwendet werden sollte, ist also abhängig vom Ziel der Imputation.

The film industry seems to have developed most strongly in specific cities/regions around the world. Based mainly on a review of the literature on urban and regional development in places where the film industry has usually been highly concentrated, this article: 1) explains why this concentration has occurred, 2) describes common trends in the industry's international development, 3) examines the film industry's overall economic impact and its contribution to cities/regions, 4) reveals the shared characteristics of film cluster production systems around the world, 5) and presents a model for governments interested in economically enhancing their cities/regions through the formation and development of a film industry-based cluster as a strategy for regional development. Lead jurisdiction models represent one option how to extend and enhance contemporary interagency cooperation among competition policy regimes. They constitute a multilateral, case-related form of cooperation that is suited to effectively create a one-stop-shop for the prosecution of international cartels, the handling of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and the governance of international antitrust cases. Thus, lead jurisdiction models offer considerable economic benefits. However, they also entail several caveats. Three possible working problems and downside effects of lead jurisdiction models in international competition policy enforcement are discussed in this paper.
