Intelligent signal analysis and assistance systems are used in many places today. Partly, one knows their place and function of use, partly established use cases are rather unknown. For example, smart home devices, which represent retrofittable digitalization for private households, are nowadays widespread, well-known and even cross-generational.
However, the fact that such intelligent assistance systems are also finding more and more application in industry as well as in nature conservation is less well known.
The presentation about several pilot projects of the performance center InSignA (Intelligent Signal Analysis and Assistance Systems) picks up on this fact and shows where such systems are used and what added value they can bring to society, industry, private individuals, but also to our environment. The presentation will focus on the requirements for digitization systems and the associated technical challenges. Use cases will be described and the added value for society and industry will be highlighted.
