TU Ilmenau / ari

On our websites you can inform yourself about the bachelor's programs offered at TU Ilmenau and find out which programs are suitable for you.

The majority of our Bachelor's degree programs are offered in German. For this, it is necessary that you can prove at least a B1 language level for German.

If you have a B1 language level, you can enroll as an exchange student at the TU Ilmenau. This offers the opportunity to attend lectures and receive credit points (ECTS) for them. These can be taken over if a regular course of study is to be continued later at the TU Ilmenau. Internships in specialized fields are also possible. An intensive German language course can be attended.

While you are in exchange studies, you can check whether you can continue your studies at the TU Ilmenau. If you decide to do so, you can apply for a study place within the usual application periods.

If you do not have a B1 language level, you can attend an integration course. To do so, contact the Ilm district social welfare office. While you are attending the integration course, you can become a guest student at the TU Ilmenau. In this case, you can attend lectures, but you will not receive any credit points.

Please note: The two possibilities mentioned above apply exclusively to Ukrainian citizens. Nationals of other countries coming to Germany from Ukraine should contact us directly.
