Participation in the DGPuK conference of the media economics section in Stuttgart

From October 4th to 6th, 2023 members of our department took part at the annual meeting of the media economy group of DGPuK (German Association for Publishing and Communication Science) in Stuttgart. The meeting program offered interesting panels and workshops around the topics of the creative industry and the creator economy, which we actively took part in.
In a research workshop about organizational learning, our colleague Miriam Bernhard presented the results of her research, which later were discussed with the community. Also, our bachelor graduate Sophie Janning gave insights into the results of her Bachelor’s thesis about “Sustainable oriented Learning in German Media Organisations”.
In an offspring workshop of MedenökonomieJR, also organized Miriam Bernhard (and Robin Riemann), Jonas Weber could get feedback on his dissertation project, whereas Annika Stöhr from the economy science department of our university got the chance to actively give PHD students feedback.
Congratulations go to our former colleague Britta Gossel who was elected as spokesperson of the group.

The meeting was hosted by Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart and organized by Uwe Eisenbeis, Lars Rinsdorf and Melanie Mezgar.

Thanks for those nice and interesting days, we are already looking forward to next year’s meeting in Mainz.
