You are going abroad in the summer semester 2022 and still need some financial support?
Then apply by 15.01.2022 for funding from the International Office of the TU Ilmenau!
We currently have two funding programs available:
DAAD-PROMOS - is a program to support the mobility of our students. In this program we do not only support semester stays or internships, but also participation in winter/summer schools, language courses or competition trips. If you are approved for funding, you can not only receive a monthly subsidy for your stay, but also a subsidy for travel costs/course fees.Current funding rates, information and the link to the application can be found on the intranet. Please note that we only fund stays that take place in presence. We do not subsidize participation in online events from Germany.Measures that begin after 16.01.22 can be funded.
Grants for stays at partner universities (Partial scholarship) - You are going to a partner university of the TU Ilmenau for a study visit or internship? Then you can also apply for our partial scholarship in addition to PROMOS! Here, too, you will receive a monthly allowance to cover the costs of your stay. We only support stays in presence. Information and the link to the application can also be found on the intranet.
Tip! If you go to a partner university of the TU Ilmenau, you should definitely apply for PROMOS and the partial scholarship. It is not possible to apply for both programs at the same time, but this will increase your chances of receiving funding and you may be able to extend the funding period.
ATTENTION: Both programmes are not full scholarships and are only a grant. This means that you will need additional financial means to cover the cost of living abroad. Possible sources are scholarships from foundations, the DAAD or private resources.
