From 04 to 08 September 2023 the 60th Ilmenau Scientific Colloquium "Engineering for a Changing World" was held on the campus of Technische Universität Ilmenau. The colloquium covered the broadness and depth of modern engineering as well as the increasing integration of engineering disciplines. It also mirrored the research strategy and technological fields established by the Technische Universität Ilmenau.

The RTG participated with several scientific presentations by our PhD candidates as well as some of our PIs. We thank all the speakers for their contribution and the session chairs for organising and moderating. Especially, we want to thank our guests Prof. Tito Busani (University of New Mexico, Albuquerque) and Prof. Liang-Chia Chen (National Taiwan University) together with his colleagues for giving interesting insights into their research and the fruitful discussions about current and future research fields.
