Female Empowerment: Women's Day Breakfast at Ilmkubator

On International Women's Day, March 8, almost 30 (prospective) female founders, students and entrepreneurs met at the Ilmkubator Finnhütten to network over breakfast.

They were joined by TU alumni and entrepreneurs Cornelia Frankenberg (ILMFINANZ) and Stephanie Kurth (Datenschutzberatung Kurth), who shared their start-up stories in two keynote speeches. They also gave insights into the successes and failures as well as challenges they have faced in the course of their self-employment. The two keynote speakers also shared practical tips on the topics of insurance cover, pensions and data protection for (prospective) founders.

The Women's Day breakfast took place as part of the EXIST Women program at the TU Ilmenau and was supported by a cooperation with ThEx Thuringia (Thuringian Start-up Centers | Southwest Thuringia Start-up Ideas Competition).
