The students Jeanette Menye Bimoa, Kai Gerstner and Josef Krümmling of the Master's program Electrochemistry and Electroplating will each receive a ZVO Master's scholarship for the winter semester 2020/21. In the course of study at the Technical University of Ilmenau, which is unique in Germany, students acquire in-depth specialist knowledge of the technology fields of electrochemical surface technology and electrochemical energy storage and conversion, among others.

The Zentralverband Oberflächentechnik e.V. (ZVO) has been awarding three scholarships annually since 2018, thus promoting the next generation of scientists in the industry. Students who have decided to study for a Master's degree with a focus on electrochemistry and electroplating technology are eligible to apply. The amount of the scholarship is 400 euros per month. It is usually awarded for a period of four semesters.
