About us
The Research Service and Technology Transfer (FuT) department supports scientists at TU Ilmenau in selecting suitable funding programmes and applying for funding projects. This concerns both concrete individual applications as well as longer-term planning processes and strategic funding advice. The focus here is on cooperation with scientists within the framework of the university's profile lines and research priorities. In addition, the department mediates contacts between industry and research, supports scientists and graduates of the TU Ilmenau in setting up their own business and advises the Presidential Board on research issues.
