Leave of absence

Please log in to the Campus Portal with your Uni-Account in the role of student.

Click on the Requests tile.

Click on the button Leave of absence.

Fill out the request and upload the required documents.

Submit the request.

Once the request has been submitted, it is in the processing state Request submitted online.

Keep an eye on the processing state of your request.

For example, if the processing state is Request sent back for processing , you can promptly read the comments of the clerk, check your request and submit it again.

In the processing state Request processed, the staff of the Student Office have completed the processing of your request.

Once processing is complete, you can view the approval state.

Approved or Rejected are then the possible state variants of the approval state.

In approval state Approved the Student Office will provide you with a leave of absence certificate.

Please log in to the Campus Portal with your Uni-Account in the role of student. After clicking on the Student Services tile, you will be offered the leave of absence certificate for download under Reports.

An request for a leave of absence submitted during the re-registration period and subsequently approved by the Student Office leads to exemption from the obligation to pay the contribution.

An request for a leave of absence submitted after the re-registration period and before the start of the semester of leave and subsequently approved by the Student Office does not release the student from the obligation to pay the contribution, but does enable the student to receive a refund of the proportionate contribution if a request for a refund is submitted to the Studierendenwerk and the StuRa in good time.
