Researchers from Ilmenau Presenting on the Law and Economics Conference in Utrecht  

With Juliane Mendelsohn, Annika Stöhr and Oliver Budzinski, three researchers from Ilmenau University of Technology presented their newest research at the "Modern Bigness Conference" at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Together with Macarena Viertel (Berlin), Juliane Mendelsohn presented their paper on "Financial Power as a Component of Modern Bigness". Oliver Budzinski, Annika Stöhr and Sophia Gaenssle (Rotterdam) showcased their newest research on "Institutional Implications of the Economic Theory of Media Bias in a Digitized Media World". On the panel on "Counter-Power", Annika Stöhr talked about "Economic Analysis of Section 19a as a Measure of Counter-Power against Firms with Paramount Significance for Competition across Markets". The conferences organizers brought together more than 20 speakers from the interdisciplinary research on modern bigness and related challenges.
