What is Typical Thuringia?

Whether it's Bratwurst or Wartburg Castle, AfD or Oberhof - in this year's final project of the journalism profession orientation course, 10 bachelor's students of applied media and communication sciences took a closer look at Thuringia's image.

After two semesters of the course, the students applied their newly acquired knowledge of the journalistic profession as an independent editorial team and used reports, features and interviews to highlight and analyze many of Thuringia's contrasts.

On their website, readers can test their knowledge of Thuringia, learn more about the state, & find out who the editors are behind this year's final project. Among other things, the question is addressed as to what image actually is and to what extent Thuringia has one at all; the students report on personal experiences and on the political structures in Thuringia. In addition, interviews with one or the other well-known person await the site visitors.

In addition, readers get a little insight into what other people think about Thuringia and which prejudices are true in a "reality check".

The BO Journalism wishes a lot of fun and is looking forward to your feedback!
