Lecture and colloqium

As part of the habilitation process, Prof. Dr. Michael Stützer presented research results on “The political costs of a renewable energy project: An empirical analysis of election results before and after the commissioning of the Westringcascade” on 25. 09. 2024. In this research project, Michael Stützer analyzed whether and to what extent the commissioning of the Westringcascade has an impact on the election results at the Apfelstädt. The presentation was followed by a scientific discussion on the topic in a colloquium with the participation of scientists from Belgium (Prof. Dr. Marcus Dejardin) and the Netherlands (Prof. Dr. Harry Garretsen). With this successful lecture and colloquium, Michael Stützer has completed the necessary steps in the habilitation process.
