Opportunities and challenges of interdisciplinarity

Media Psychology Group attends Workshop on Socio-Technical Research

The research project of TU Dresden “Disruptionen Vernetzter Privatheit” (DIPCY) and the Sociology of Media Communication Division of German Communication Association (DGPuK) invited researchers from IT and communication and media studies to take part in the Workshop "Exploring socio-technical research" on September 22-23, 2022. The event provided a platform for academics from computer and social sciences to learn from interdisciplinary socio-technical research projects.

In the context of the work package "Evaluation" of the CO-HUMANICS project, project members Melisa Conde and Veronika Mikhailova from the Media Psychology and Media Design Group at Technische Universität Ilmenau participated in this event. Relevant for the CO-HUMANICS project were – among others – the insights on hybrid experimental research combining qualitative and quantitative design elements.
