DC test systems

The DC test systems provide variable DC voltages and DC currents for a wide range of tests on components in electrical power engineering, especially in the field of future DC networks and electromobility.

High-Power Test Facility

The high power test field comprises several facilities for the provision of high test powers, which are primarily required for the investigation of the switching capacity of switchgear in electrical power engineering at AC and DC.

High-voltage laboratory

The high-voltage laboratory mainly contains equipment that provides test voltages, also under various climatic conditions, for the diverse investigations of electrical insulating materials and other components in power engineering.

Switchgear laboratory

The switchgear laboratory includes highly automated test benches for flexible investigations of model switch arrangements for both classic mechanical switchgear and hybrid switchgear.

Impulse laboratory

In the impulse laboratory, mainly typical impulse currents can be generated for the investigation of lightning protection components and other components threatened by lightning effects.
