AssiQ: Assistance system for quality monitoring

Today's production of sheet metal components in stamping plants is predominantly characterized by selective and time-limited knowledge of process conditions, no or very late manual reaction to process fluctuations and a manual final inspection by visual inspection with correspondingly relatively high error rates. More modern approaches therefore monitor important production steps as individual solutions in order to eliminate or minimize errors. The focus of the research project is the monitoring of an entire press line in a medium-sized manufacturing company. In this way, the proportion of errors in production is to be significantly reduced through the use of new 3D sensor systems and the transfer of defective parts from the press shop is to be completely prevented.
