Doctoral students, scientists and lecturers who come to TU Ilmenau have to look for a room or an apartment privately. There are offers on campus, in the city of Ilmenau or in the surrounding communities.

The university itself as well as municipal housing associations, housing cooperatives and private landlords are possible housing providers.

You should take care of your accommodation as early as possible! Ask your department for advice and support or contact us as well.
