Requirements

Participants

  • Students enrolled in a full course of study at one of the Thuringian universities (from the first semester)
  • Graduates in the first 12 months after graduation (application must be made while still studying!)

Duration of funding

  • Full-time internships of 2 to 12 months per study cycle (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate) in one of the programme countries
  • Full-time internships of 2 to 24 months for single-track courses (e.g. diploma) in one of the programme countries

Traineeships

  • Eligible: in enterprises, social institutions, NGOs, universities, etc.
  • Not eligible: in EU institutionsand other EU bodies, including specialised agencies; in bodiesmanaging EU programmes.

Erasmus+ grants | Project 2020

These grants apply to Erasmus+ mobilities with funding commitment from 01.10.2020.

Traineeships during studies: Students can be funded for up to 12 months. The maximum duration refers to the study phase, not to the field of study.

Traineeships after graduation: Graduates can be funded up to a total duration of 12 months. The duration of the graduate traineeship will be counted towards the Erasmus+ time quota of the previous study phase.

Traineeships during studies: Students can be funded for up to 12 months!

Traineeships after graduation: Graduates are supported up to a total duration of 6 months. You are also welcome to go abroad for longer. However, you will not receive any funding for this period (Zero Grant).

Special grants

  • Support for parents with child(ren): Students or graduates who start their Erasmus+ placement with one or more children will receive an additional DAAD grant.
  • Special support for persons with special needs: Students or graduates with a degree of disability can receive additional funds to their Erasmus+ grant DAAD
