Project information

The RAMAN spectroscopy applied for in this project is used for the structural elucidation of organic and inorganic compounds. With its help, solid-state properties such as crystal orientation, material composition, strain or dopant concentration can be investigated. Raman spectroscopy is also a powerful tool for answering biological and molecular biological questions. In combination with optical microscopy, material compositions can be analysed and imaged three-dimensionally at the physical resolution limit.
