Evaluation of foreign certificates

The evaluation of foreign certificates is a regular step in the application process for a degree program.

The ANABIN database is publicly accessible. This gives you the opportunity to find out for yourself whether your educational qualifications acquired abroad are recognized in Germany before you apply.

Alternatively, you can have foreign certificates assessed by the external service provider uni-assist, provided the university to which you wish to apply is a member of uni-assist e.V. and has commissioned uni-assist to assess foreign certificates.

This option is not available for the TU Ilmenau.
