Welcome to the homepage of the new "Computational Medicine" group, headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sylvia Saalfeld at the Institute of Practical Informatics and Media Informatics. Our research focuses on medical image analysis and computer-assisted therapy support for neurovascular, oncological, and interventional issues. This includes visualization for diagnosis and therapy as well as the development and application of AI algorithms in medicine.
