Comparative analyses for dynamic calculation of coherence


 


In medical signal processing the observation and the classification of spectral characteristics of underlying signals are very important. The coherence is a significant parameter for the analysis of the synchronisation processes. On the basis of adaptive recursive estimation methods a variety of approaches are known by now, which allow a continuous estimation of the coherence on parameterised basis as well as on DFT-based methods. For the appropriate application of these methods comparative analyses of the efficiency and the statistic characteristics are necessary.
