MONIST - Modellsimulation Neuronaler und kognitiver Informationsverarbeitung - Schule der Techniken

 

Monist is a Learning and Content Management System (LCMS) for teaching and learning with simulation in the field of neuroscience and cognitive science. The software consists of various modules through which content can be received, external programmes can be called up and tasks can be solved. It is also possible to communicate with other users.

Since the effort involved in using model simulations is often quite high, Monist aims to reduce this effort with the help of an individually usable tool of teaching simulations in order to promote their integration into classroom teaching. Several universities are involved in the BMBF-funded project. The lead institution is Bielefeld University.
