23rd European Academy of Management (EURAM) conference

Management/Organization group connected with other engaged management scholars in Dublin, Ireland (June 14-16, 2023)

This year's 23rd European Academy of Management (EURAM) conference EURAM 2023 Annual Conference, hosted by Trinity Business School in Dublin, has been the largest management conference in Europe with more than 1.400 participants.

TU Ilmenau was represented by the Management/Organization group with Univ.-Prof. Dr. habil. Norbert Bach and Rrezon Lajçi who were joined by their co-authors Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Wolfgang Buchholz and Philipp Damwerth, both from Münster School of Business, and Prof. Ass. Gentrit Berisha from University of Prishtina.

The authors in total presented and discussed four papers:

  • Plural Governance as a Safeguard: How Historical Choices Determine Transactional Risks (Norbert Bach and Peter Galvin from Edith Cowan University, Perth/WA). Strategic Management General Track
  • Organization-Based Self-Esteem and Proactivity as Drivers of Intrapreneurship: A Moderated Mediation Model (Rrezon Lajci, Gentrit Berisha, and Norbert Bach). Organisational Behaviour General Track
  • Psychological Capital as a Predictor of Managers' Intrapreneurial Intentions (Rrezon Lajci, Gentrit Berisha, and Besnik Krasniqi from the University of Pristina/Kosovo). Organisational Behaviour General Track
  • Built to Last? An Analysis of the Impact of Founding Conditions on Ecosystem Emergence (Philipp Damwerth, Wolfgang Buchholz, and Norbert Bach). Entrepreneurial and Innovation Ecosystems Track

Prof. Bach also served as chair of the session “Strategy practices and challenges” facilitating the discussion of four competitive papers (one authored by Richard Whittington and Andreas König) as part of the “Strategic Management General Track”.

We are thankful for the positive feedback and suggestions we received on our conference papers. EURAM is the biggest gathering of scholars in Europe and not only, therefore, we are already looking forward to EURAM 2024.
