The research group Media Studies offers courses on communicator research, crisis communication, journalism, strategic communication, international/intercultural communication and political communication/public diplomacy. The groups' co-workers also supervise bachelor's and master's theses as well as internships and project work (further information after logging on the intranet).

In the Bachelor's program Angewandte Medien- und Kommunikationswissenschaft, the department is responsible for the courses

In addition, research seminars and Practical workshops are offered on various topics.

 

In the Master's program Media and Communication Science various research and specialization modules are offered by the research group Media Studies, which are based on the research foci of the department:

Intercultural Communication, 

Innovative Communicator Research, 

Journalism and strategic communication und 

Strategic / Journalistic Communication in multicultural Settings.
