New employees at the research group

We are happy to welcome two new employees at the research group.

Kathrin Knutzen studied Applied Media and Communication Science at TU Ilmenau with a focus on Public Relations and Project Management. This year she completed her Master's degree in Media and Communication Science, in which her most recent Master's thesis dealt with Social Virtual Reality and the influence of social group factors. She is now applying her expertise from this time in the VEDIAS VR project, in which she is working on the conception and development of a virtual campus in a social VR platform.

Gunjan Kumari pursued her Master studies program, M.Sc. Media Technology at the Technical University of Ilmenau with focus on Virtual Reality and Human-Computer Interaction. Her final Master-thesis dealt with the Implementation of a Low Latency Social XR Platform Featuring 3D Pose Estimation. The expertise gained from her studies, particularly during the master thesis would be applied in the ILT project, where she will work on development of the new methods of learning and teaching in Social VR context.
