As part of the “Campus EMS” project, power meters were installed in five university buildings in cooperation with the Department of Buildings and Technology. These devices send data to a server in the department every minute. The data collected in this way can then be used as a basis for further analysis. Areas of analysis include energy usage optimization, forecasting of feed-in or consumption, and simulating various expansion scenarios.
